More words are always needed:
· Words to tell the story
· Words for a good book title
· Words for the blurb
· Words to tell everyone about the story
· Key words to bring traffic to a website
· Words to tell people about the words already written
When the last word is written in the book and the last full stop added to keep the words from fraying… more words are still needed to tell people about the words already written, about the characters who need to tell their story… about the books that need to be read.
But where to place the words?
It seems to me that adding these words to social media only results in more junk emails arriving every day, offering dubious services for a large fee. So I’m choosing to post these words on my author website, to build a following, with a view to opening my book shop and bringing the personal touch of the book signing to the convenience of online shopping. To send out little parcels of joy in the form of personally signed books, packaged with care and sent out to be launched through the letterbox into a new home, in packaging that will make it stand out from the everyday mail, and demand attention!
