This is a subtitle for your new post

Spinning plates, or should that be: spinning books, a web site and illustrations?

Spinning plates

After writing the title ‘spinning plates’ it occurs to me that what I’m doing is actually spinning books, a website and illustrations, which is significantly harder than spinning plates.

·       Books are the wrong shape to balance as I spin them and their characters tend to fall out and get into mischief...

·       A website in a spin, now what would that look like? The centrifugal force would likely send all of the coding to the outer edges of each page and crash the site.

·       Illustrations could be interesting… The paints would find their own way of expressing themselves.

·       The sketched characters would probably cause chaos in the same way as they do in the Doodle Mayhem series. When sketches escape the words which direct them, they might just find that they can write their own story…

As a self publisher you’ve likely already come up against some sort of barrier in traditional publishing.
