There’s an exciting new product in my shop, it’s not a book, it’s not even a physical product, not until you knit it that is…


It’s a PDF knitting pattern to knit your own woolly sheep, kit a flock if you like…


Sheep – these little characters started as a gimmick to take to book signings. It all started when I wrote a bedtime story “But I’m Not Sleepy” when Lucy can’t get to sleep, she starts counting sheep. But the sheep start running around Lucy’s bedroom, and then Downboy the sheepdog turns up…



Anyway, not only were sheep running around Lucy’s bedroom, they were also taking over my table, and filling my evenings leading up craft fairs. But they did lead to some interesting conversations, from the child in a pushchair calling “Baa” to actual sheep farmers who stopped for a chat…
