Friday round up:
So what's going on...?
- Waiting I'm still waiting to hear back from a literary agent, after sending my story out, all by itself in an email. It's been eight weeks now, so I'm hopeful of hearing something in the next four weeks.
- Drawing I've been drawing little characters in different mediums and seeing which work the best. I have lots of different coloured splodgy characters popping up on different types of paper, with a variety of expressions, all auditioning for parts in a book.
- Writing Mostly content for the website, and sharing the story of restless books as they plan their escape from their boxes. Everyone knows that toys come alive when no one's looking, but did you know that books do too? The story is still unfolding...
- Social media trying to strike the right balance between being social and promoting, whilst at the same time suspecting that everyone is really there to laugh at funny videos.
Rewrites
How many rewrites does it take to make a book? I’ll let you know when it’s finished… maybe.
