Boxes... the possibilities are endless

It is a timeless truth that boxes are the best toys! They have so much potential; they usually arrive with things inside, things that can be taken out to reveal… the most amazing thing ever! It can be used as a drum, or banged on the floor… Boxes vary in size, but are surprisingly light for the size of them, meaning that even the smallest child can hurl them around in a most satisfying way.

Big boxes can be climbed into and used as a car, a boat, or a magical vessel to go to places that only exist in the imagination. With a bit of help a box can have doors and windows cut out to make a den, or painted or crayoned to show what the box has become.

A box can store treasures, treasures of unspeakable value to the person who stowed them away. Boxes can be emptied and refilled with great care, or shaken upside down, sending falling treasure far and wide to be gathered again and rediscovered.

All Ollie wants is a box, he empties his toy box and then his brick box until he finds just the right box to be…
