Self publishing is sometimes a lonely journey

The self publishing headache

This week I’m definitely feeling the pressure of everything being down to me. Every time I think I’ve got to grips with opening my online shop it seems another hurdle trips me up. Yesterday I read through T&Cs and policies until they sent my brain to mush. I feel like it shouldn’t be this difficult.

So here’s a thought – I’ll be adding some Buy Bottons to my website, to link to my books on Waterstones, all my books have an ISBN and this is how the system is supposed to work. So if you’ve read this far, maybe you’d consider buying one of my books from Waterstones? I would love to get back to working on my next book… either submitting it to agents, or self publishing, the journey is at a crossroads.

As a self publisher you’ve likely already come up against some sort of barrier in traditional publishing.
