It’s going to be a messy journey – but a picture book is definitely brewing.
I’ve been busy training my pencils to release the puppies that I know are in there, just waiting to run out and play on the paper.
So now I have lots of puppies in several sketchbooks, becoming very unruly and not at all inclined to organise themselves into a book.
And then paint got involved – puppies and paint are probably not the best combination, and combined with my natural talent for making a mess, it is not surprising that the paint didn’t all end up where it was meant to be, I’ve no idea how it got up my arm, and there’s still some on my watchstrap…
So, it’s going to be a messy journey – but a picture book is definitely brewing.

How many rewrites does it take to make a book? I’ll let you know when it’s finished… maybe.
