Photo of blank page and pencil

Dear blank page,

I opened you at the beginning of a busy morning, fully intending to write something amazing, that was going to come to me just by running my fingers across the keyboard. But then I was: sat on by a cat, meowed at by another, and the dog barked at multiple things happening outside, some announcements being more useful than others…

But rest assured I have not been idle, no really, I have a laptop in front of me, and that is the epitome of busy!

So what did I do? I edited my website, cuddled the cats, played Frisbee with the dog, several times (learnt the spelling of Frisbee), received and stored away a food delivery, posted on Pinterest, looked for book marketing inspiration on Pinterest – which resulted in me buying a book.

PS Just before closing my laptop I found you, and filled you with words… you are welcome. x
